Today we started our investigation of energy by creating a circuit with an energy source (a D-Cell battery), a couple of wires, and a light bulb. This is just an initial exploration that begins a process to learn more about electricity, magnetism, engineering design, and applications of electromagnetism. We will also look at energy transfer through waves and motion.
We received the materials from Lou Loftin and Brian Crosby at the State’s Regional Professional Development Project. This has allowed Room D4 to work with some of the strongest and most current materials around the Next Generation Science Standards and the Nevada Academic Content Standards.
