Following 43 days of rigorous curriculum and really challenging work, students finally got a break to do our first classroom auction. Some held back to wait and purchase their desks and turn rentals into condos. The majority, however, spent their $1000’s down and bought items including golf shirts, juggling balls, water bottles, hats, lunch boxes, cars, stress toys, and stationary. There remain lots of items left from philanthropic corporations who generously donated to our class.
It was an amazing flurry of auction activity and I cannot overstate how thankful I am for all of the donations from companies throughout the United States.
